What is LVP?
LVP stands for Luxury Vinyl Plank. It’s a type of flooring designed to look like real hardwood, but it's much more durable and water-resistant. It’s become a go-to option for people who want the look of wood without the high maintenance or price tag.
What’s the difference between SPC and WPC — and why do we prefer SPC?
Both are great options, but SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) has a clear edge. It’s made with a tough limestone-based core, which makes it more rigid and durable than WPC (Wood Polymer Composite).
Here’s why SPC wins for most people:
- It handles heavy traffic and furniture better
- It's completely waterproof
- It stays stable even temperature changes
- It;s typically more budget-friendly
WPC can feel a little softer underfoot, but SPC holds up better in the long run — especially in busy areas like kitchens, hallways, or commercial spaces.
What exactly is SPC flooring?
SPC vinyl is a next-generation luxury vinyl plank with a rigid, solid core. It’s strong, 100% waterproof, and has a natural wood look. It’s designed to last, even in high-traffic areas, and it’s easy to clean and maintain.
What thickness options do you offer?
We currently carry
- 5mm SPC
- 7mm SPC
Both options come with a 22mil wear layer, which means extra protection against scratches, scuffs, and daily wear and tear.
Do I need underlayment?
Nope — no extra underlayment needed. Each plank already comes with a built-in 1mm IXPE pad, which adds comfort and reduces sound.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, and many of our customers do! Thanks to the UNICLIC locking system, installation is straightforward — no glue, nails, or mess. Just click and go.
Do you recommend a YouTube video on how to install SPC flooring?
Yes, definitely! Here's a very clear and professional video tutorial we recommend:

It walks you through everything step-by-step — perfect if you're planning to install it yourself.
Is it really waterproof?
Yes, 100%! SPC vinyl is perfect for areas where spills or moisture are common — like bathrooms, basements, kitchens, or mudrooms.
Is SPC heavy?
SPC flooring is a bit heavier than regular vinyl — that’s because of its dense, stone-based core (which also makes it more durable).
- 5mm box weighs about 41.83 lbs
- 7mm box weighs around 52.17 lbs
While the weight gives the product its solid feel, it’s still manageable to handle — especially with a second set of hands during installation.
What is the warranty on SPC vinyl flooring?
All of our SPC vinyl flooring products come with a 25-year residential warranty and a 10-year light commercial warranty. This covers issues related to manufacturing defects, wear-through of the wear layer under normal use, and product stability when installed properly.

How do I take care of it?
Super easy. Just sweep or vacuum regularly and use a damp mop when needed. No need for wax or harsh chemicals — a gentle cleaner does the trick.
Is SPC vinyl flooring pet-friendly?
Yes, it is! SPC flooring is a great choice for homes with pets. It’s scratch-resistant, waterproof, and easy to clean, which makes it perfect for dealing with muddy paws, spills, or little accidents. Plus, the rigid core holds up well under heavy use — even with big dogs.
